4 yr girl known case of sickle cell anemia treated elsewhere conservatively for chronic osteomyelitis , now came to me with this deformity, otherwise symptomless, painless limping, what about this deformity, is it remodel or need some intervention?

Prakash Agrawal sir sequestrum(seen over posterior aspect in old xray)is almost resorbed….I think one sd wait for complete resorption of sequestrum and a infection free period for about 6mnt to 1yr….then u can go for seek kabab osteotomy…. explain about prognosis and requirement of multiple surgeries..

Sanjay Joseph This deformity is in the plane of joint movement therefore there is good potential for remodelling. Repeat xray every six months. If there is improvement then watch and wait.
